Zion Township hosted its Second Annual Open House and Ice Cream Social on July 24, 2018 at their center at 1015 27th Street in Zion.

"The goal was to help residents better understand all the ways we are here to serve," says Zion Township Supervisor, Cheri Neal.

Volunteers such as the Queen Bees of Zion Red Hat Society members Noma Blanton, Mildred Dozier, and Ruby Faye Smith served ice cream.

Speakers like Gregorio Resendiz from Community Action Partnership (CAP) shared with visitors information on the joint services that CAP provides both at the Zion Township Office and the Central CAP location at 2424 Washington Street in Waukegan.
