At the Movies: Escape Plan 2

Escape Plan 2 Hades is a sequel to the 2013 movie ESCAPE PLAN. It stars Sylvester Stallone as Ray Breslin, a skilled expert trained to test the security of prisons by escaping them. Breslin runs an elite team of security specialist when a few teammates are captured by an unknown enemy and imprisoned in a secret, high tech prison called Hades. With help from a friend, Breslin must rescue his teammates and escape his toughest prison yet. What will he discover when he's inside Hades about the enemies who created it?

Escape Plan 2 is full of action and mystery, which at times can be interesting. However, those rare moments of entertainment are almost entirely overwhelmed by a bad, boring script with huge plot holes. The movie is very violent, with several brutal beatings and fight scenes, plus lot of foul language. The worldview is mixed, with strong immoral behavior combined with moral, redemptive elements. for example, Breslin cares about his team and is willing to sacrifice everyone to care about the people he loves. Extreme caution is advised for Escape Plan 2.

Other characters are Dave Bautista (Trent DeRose), 50 Cent (Hush), Jaime King (Abigail Ross), Huang xiaoming, Jesse Metcalfe (Luke Walken), Tyron Woodley, Wes Chatham, Lydia Hull, Pete Wentz, Titus Welliver and Ashley Cusato
