The Incredibles II - Movie Review

The Incredibles 2 movie sold s a record setting $180 Million in ticket sale over the weekend.

Soon after the slamming opener of Incredibles 2 with its flying rubble, fleeing people and bloviating bank robber, the scene shifts to a police station interrogation room. There, a few cops berate the superhero Mr. Incredible (voiced by Craig T. Nelson)and his wife and partner in heroics, Elastigirl (Holly Hunter), for meddling. They left a swath of destruction in their wake, and besides the bank was insured. Mr. Incredible transforms into Mr. Indignant, declaring that they didn’t start the fight, which is an amusingly self-serving way to jump start a sequel.

In this film we finally get to see the events that unfolded after critically acclaimed Incredibles. The film follows Helen or Mrs. Incredible when she is offered the spotlight role of being the superhero which comes to a surprise to everyone. It takes some adjustment and you can see the growth of the family bond as they now have Mr. Incredible doing the daily activities Mrs. Incredible did day to day. A new villain arises and he poses such a threat that Mrs. Incredible enlist the help of her family and fan favorite Frozone.

The movie packed a lot of laughs and was a treat to see the growth of Jack Jack. This is one of the mystery’s that many came to the movie to see and I believe that it is well worth the wait. Incredibles 2 brings a thrilling ride for families to enjoy with a beautiful moral to the story that everyone can learn from.
