32nd Annual Nostalgia Days

Big hit in Zion, 20,000 attend two-day event

The City of Zion's Nostalgia Days Commission held a very successful event June 15-16, 2018 in the center of the City's downtown business district. According to organizers, more than 20,000 individuals participated in some capacity.

Nostalgia Days went over really well this year," says Mike Pobiecke, President of the Lake Shore Chamber of Commerce, one of the key sponsors.

The outdoor festival included food, clothing, and artifact vendors, outdoor movies, live music, a car show, and a "scoop the loop" style parade of in-show vehicles dubbed the "Street Cruize". Thousands lined Sheridan Road to see their favorite nostalgic vehicle cruise by.

Over 450 vintage and nostalgic cars entered the show with over 33 prizes awarded. Here is a list of the seven top winners.
