Carrie Healy Honored as Realtor of the Year

Carrie Healy

Carrie Healy represents the most professional qualities of a REALTOR and approaches her work with an incredible level of leadership. It is no surprise, then, that the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS® recognized Carrie as their REALTOR of the Year on April 9 at a state banquet at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois.

Sponsored by the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation, the banquet was held in conjunction with business meetings for Illinois REALTORS®, a voluntary trade organization that represents 28 local REALTOR associations and over 47,000 members engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry.

Among these members, only one from each local association may be awarded REALTOR of the Year, based on their service and leadership in the community as well as activities in the association.

Carrie's service, leadership in the community and activity within NSBAR has been exemplary and, in addition to being a former NSBAR president, Carrie is currently a member of the NSBAR Board of Directors and several other NSBAR committees, including the Ethics Citation, Finance/Executive, Investment & Banking, Global, Mediators and Government and Political Issues Committees. In previous years, Carrie has served as a member of the NSBAR Merger Possibilities, Professional Standards, Awards Recognition Events, Strategic Issues and Educational and Professional Development Committees.

Carrie was a Sterling R contributor for RPAC in 2017 and is now both a current RPAC Major Investor and the State Legislative Contact for Rep. Robyn Gabel, 18th District. What's more, Carrie, who is a broker associate with The Hudson Company in Winnetka, will serve on the Global Business Council, RPAC Fundraising Working Group and Nominating Committee this year for Illinois REALTORS.

The April 9 banquet also honored the 2018 Illinois REALTOR of the Year Michael D. Oldenettel of Jacksonville, an active member at all REALTOR association levels.

Proceeds from the banquet benefit the work of the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit organization promoting research and academic advancement in real estate subjects through a series of grants and scholarships. Learn more at http://www.ilreef.org.
