Movie Review: Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is the third installment in the Avengers film series accumulating heroes from far and wide to stop a Titan first shown in the first Avengers film. Thanos, the main antagonist – played by Josh Brolin, is on the hunt for the famed Infinity stones and it's up to the heroes to make sure that his plan is foiled or else it could mean the death of many across the universe.

The characters include the original Avengers cast accompanied by the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and Black panther who have all become fan favorites. The all-star cast included Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man)., Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). Don Cheadle (War Machine- Iron Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Anthony Mackie (Falcon). The movie was co-directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, debuting on many screens across America on April 27, 2018. According to Disney Studios, as of May 6, Avengers: Infinity War had made over $1 billion making it the fasting grossing movie of all time to hit that mark within 11 days of its release.

The movie packs in a strong narrative and plenty of action to keep fans at the edge of their seats wondering "how could this be topped". The movie provided a lot of fan service giving jokes here and there while keeping pretty accurate to comic book aspects. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and believe that it could be a fun ride for anyone in the family to enjoy.
